YAWEI 1200KVA & 1600KVA 3 phase transformer was delivered to Zimbabwe in 2025. It is a Step Down transformer from 11kv to 0.669kv, the primary voltage is 11kv, the secondary voltage is 0.669kv. We can supply both Step Up and Step-Down transformer, the cooling method is ONAN. Iron Core
A transformer core is made through multiple steps of manufacture:
Material Selection: The core material will be made of silicon steel, which has good magnetic conduction and small losses.
Cutting: Steel sheet is cut to a certain pattern. They are usually thin so as to reduce the eddy current loss.
Lamination: The cutting sheet is stacked and laminates. Limit eddy current flow to cut on energy losses.
Insulation: Insulating material is introduced between laminate for further loss reduction and short circuit prevent
Assembly: And the laminated core, we put it in its final shape, that would be more like a rectangle or a cylinder shape, then we will do that.
Coating: Can put on a protective coat to prevent from rusting and make it to last long.
Testing: Finally it gets tested to make sure it works as well as necessary.
To ensure the transformer core does good and useful things for electrical stuff.
Winding
1. Enamelled magnetic copper or aluminum wire is produced by Nantong Budweiser, which is a 100% subsidiary company belongs to YAWEI.
2.Our windings are made of high quality copper.
3.Both High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) windings are done using Coil Winding Machines. The Copper or Aluminum strips/wires used in winding are meticulously selected for its quality to give the best output. The Copper or Aluminum strips/wires are paper covered and acts as insulators.
Oil Tank

1. Oil tank is produced by Nantong Zhihe, which is also a 100% subsidiary company belongs to YAWEI.
2. The oil tank is a power transformer housing containing the iron core, winding and transformer oil.
3. The corrugated tank structure is fully sealed, and the corrugated will expand and compress with the increase of oil, isolating the transformer from the atmosphere and preventing oil deterioration and moisture.
After oil removal, rust removal and phosphating treatment, the surface of corrugated oil tank is coated with rainproof paint. Moisture and salt spray.
