Product Overview

A grounding transformer, also called an earthing transformer, is normally connected to a three-phase electrical system that does not provide a suitable neutral point. Its primary purpose is not conventional voltage transformation. Instead, it establishes a neutral point that allows the system to be grounded and provides a path for zero-sequence current during a single-line-to-ground fault.
