The steps for rewinding a power transformer are as follows:
1. Turn off the corresponding power switch, cut off the input and output lines of the transformer, and strip the power cable and ground wire.
2. lift the transformer by hooks, pay attention to the position of the lifting device to meet the balance of the lifting weight, to avoid tilting the transformer.
3. transport the lifted transformer to the inverted position and secure the transformer with pads.
4. Lift the transformer down, when the inversion has been completed.
5. Check the transformer for loose parts, bolts and fixings and tighten if necessary.
